This year’s edition of the Croatian Insurance Days is expected to bring together more than three hundred participants, thus making the event the largest annual gathering of Croatian insurance professionals.
Insurance and reinsurance specialists, regulators, supervisors, and other financial institutions from the national and European levels will present the achievements and comment on the state and the latest trends of Croatian and European insurance markets.
“The Croatian insurance industry is strong and stable, as evidenced by the results of our active members in the regional markets and is particularly looking forward to a further step towards the western areas of the single European market. Although the insurance industry is facing a number of regulatory and market challenges, Croatian insurers are strengthening their focus on the needs of their customers. By providing economic protection against risks, as well as long-term investments in the economy, insurers contribute significantly to the financial stability and the development of the economic system. It is extremely important to raise public awareness of the importance of insurance in increasing the economic security of individuals, as well as of the society and the economy as a whole,” said Hrvoje PAUKOVIC, director of the Croatian Insurance Bureau.
Lectures and panel discussions will examine several current issues related to the insurance industry. On the very first day of the conference, a parallel session on cargo claims processing and liquidation will take place.
