Employers have been advised to step up their mental health support for their employees during this covid-19 pandemic. According to a recent survey only 31% of managers are considered to be sufficiently confident to initiate discussions around mental health and help staff gain expert’s help. Since the government imposed lock-downs in most cities across the world, concerns over job security and income loss have grown among employees. one in four (25%) UK employees don’t reveal their mental health challenges to their employers and nearly a third (31%) say they would not feel comfortable disclosing a mental issue to their employers.
