International Insurance Society (IIS) will open two regional offices till the end of this year -in London and Singapore, to expand its global footprint, has announced President & CEO of the IIS, Mike MORRISEY at this year’s Global Insurance Forum in Berlin.
The two regional offices will have regional tasks – the London office, to develop on the EMEA region while the Singapore one, to expand IIS presence in Asia Pacific Region.
At the same time, Mr. MORRISSEY has announced that Greig WOODRIN, actual Chairman of IIS will step down from his position this fall, and his place will be taken by Chris WEI, Executive Chairman at AVIVA Asia & Digital Global Chairman, AVIVA.
At the same event, Mr. MORRISSEY pointed up about a new partnership between IIS and The Institutes. Thus, the IIS became an affiliate of The Institutes, the leading education and research provider for the risk management and property-casualty insurance industry. Also, IIS will continue to deliver the Global Insurance Forum each year and will set up several regional forums, across the world, to delivered more focused debates and discussions. “Our scope is to offer to the international community important insights about innovation and technology & disruptive tendencies and to share knowledge”, stressed MORRISSEY.
